Logan has been asking me for a week to have a lemonade stand. I kept putting him off for a couple of reasons. One, there wasn't anyone out during the day to even see his stand let alone buy anything. I then had the idea that he could have a stand at our family reunion. He was so excited! He helped me plan it. He decided what table he wanted to use, what he wanted to sell, and he make signs to hang on the table. His friend Lauren helped he decide how much money to charge and wrote it on a sign for him. Yesterday at the reunion, he was so dedicated to his lemonade stand. When he wanted to walk away for a minute, he was sure to let everyone know the store was closed. My family was so cute with him! He had a bunch of business and sold almost all of his lemonade! He made almost $2. (Just enough to cover the cost of the lemonade!!) Today we are going to talk to him about his money. He will have to figure out how much tithing he needs to pay, how much he should save and how much he has left to spend. He has taken the whole thing very seriously and I am so proud of him! I think we will make this a yearly event at the reunion.
